Tom Black is a Senior Consultant at Samaha & Associates, Inc. specializing in business development and strategic partnerships. Tom has more than 25 years of experience in technology infrastructure (Unisys, Oracle, S1, Open Solutions, and Fiserv) and financial services (Montana Bancsystems, Inc. and State of Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance).
With vast expertise in Core Enterprise, Digital Channels, Enterprise Content Management, Payment, Financial Application Suites and BI/CRM solutions, Tom’s goal is to enhance value proposition to respective credit union membership. He achieves this goal by aligning innovative technologies with the forward-leaning business goals and objectives, which uncover new opportunities for reducing costs, improving efficiencies, enabling innovation and growing non-traditional revenue.
Tom received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nebraska. He completed certificate training in Consultant Training for Large Financial Institutions (Boston Consulting Group), Critical Path Strategic Selling and Partnering Methodology (SPUTNIK-3 group), Partnership Selling (Holden Group), Winning Opportunity Strategies (The Complex Sale, Inc.) and Transforming the Buyer/Seller Relationship (FranklinCovey Sales Performance Group). In addition, Tom received formalized FDIC Examiner training in Washington, D.C.
Tom loyally follows the San Francisco 49ers and the University of Nebraska football teams. On summer Friday evenings, Tom enjoys live music with family, friends and neighbors at the Redwood City, Calif. Courthouse Square.
