Janeace Liles has been actively working in the Credit Union Industry for over 47 years. A seasoned Credit Union executive, she has spent the last eight years serving as a Senior Consultant with Samaha and Associates, Inc.
A fierce advocate for her clients, Janeace is involved in all aspects of Credit Union activities in the updating of technology services and consults on selection, negotiations and implementation of new technology. She works along side Credit Union management and staff to determine best practices and to help design and implement a system, which allows them to meet corporate goals and to understand the breadth and depth of the new technology tools being installed.
Prior to joining Samaha & Associates, Janeace spent 15 years as part of strategic implementation and project management teams for CUNA Mutual Group and DMS/Harland/Ultradata Systems. She was involved in the project management for core computer system conversions, managing customer relationships and support for the company’s sales and service units. She is also well-versed in automated processing, including call centers, internet applications, automated document production and form generation and insurance products.
Prior to the aforementioned posts, she spent nine years with AEGON’s Creditor Resources, Inc. (CRI) as a Field Engineer and Business Analyst. This allowed Janeace to hone her installation and third-party conversion skills as well as writing interfaces to the CRIterion lending system and insurance products.
Janeace has also held Credit Union positions, including several years as a Controller and two years as CEO. She also was a supervisor and manager for teller, collection, accounting, and back office operations before moving to the sales and service side of the industry.
Janeace earned a bachelor’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and more recently an Integrative Life Coach Certification. She lives in Martinez, Calif. with her husband and their American Shorthair, a “fuzz ball queen” named Kusa. She notes that her town was home of naturalist John Muir and the birthplace of baseball great Joe DiMaggio as well as the quintessential cocktail, the Martini. A Sci-fi aficionado, “Blade Runner” tops her list of movies. She rates Bonnie Raitt as the best women blues slide guitarist in the world.
