Steven Uhrman

Steven Uhrman is a Senior Consultant with Samaha & Associates, Inc. With nearly 25 years of experience in the technology and financial services space, Steven most recently served as a Project Manager for Corelation, Inc. where he spent four years implementing Corelation’s KeyStone core software platform to 18 credit unions as well as overseeing four related special projects.

Previous posts include Senior Project Manager at Kaiser Permanente where he managed complex IT projects with budgets nearing $5.5 million. Responsibilities included assembling internal and external resources to ensure alignment of team member skills and strengths with project demands. He also served as Senior Project Manager for California Coast Credit Union where he managed four branch opening projects; coordinated the credit union’s IVR (Integrated Voice Response) system from inception to implementation; and directed all business continuity plan (BCP) testing and project plans, including all annual tests selected by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

While serving as Technical Project Manager for Cryptographic Services at Wells Fargo, Steven was responsible for coordinating 20-plus parallel Internet, VPN, and dedicated circuit implementations for the Secure Proxy Service (a DMZ layer-7 reverse proxy) during the Wachovia/Wells Fargo merger. Additionally, he managed Firewall, F5, Network, Server Build, Security Consulting, ISO and application teams that allowed for the implementation of mitigating perimeter security controls for bi-directional external file transmissions.

A graduate of the Ohio State University Max M. Fischer College of Business with a concentration in marketing and logistics, Steven also earned a master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

In his spare time, Steven enjoys singing — mostly 1970s music but anything that has a good beat and makes people move. A culinary connoisseur, he enjoys cooking, especially creating interesting Italian appetizers. Favorite sporting activities include dodgeball and kickball. A travel enthusiast, recent trips of note include Cozumel and ziplining in Honduras.
